The loudspeakers of the company KROMA from Grenada came to us by a happy coincidence. This Spanish music-art manufactory is more than worth looking at and appreciating it.
The development of the KROMA loudspeakers has shown that it will be crowned with success if the entire loudspeaker is not only technically equipped with great chassis and selected component qualities, but is also tuned to the resonance.
The surrounding housing surfaces are made of Krion. Krion is a material made of a non-conductive and non-magnetic material characterized by its high mass and lack of resonances, which does not cause any discoloration of sound. Elements made of different types of wood – used by renowned violin makers to build their musical instruments – are handmade and placed in critical places with great sound influence. It is not a matter of making a loudspeaker an “instrument” that adds its own signature to the music. Rather, it is a matter of promoting music with harmonic overtone frequencies in their natural spectrum. Thanks to our own
Subbase écho LS technology,
we can understand this approach very well. No metal parts are used in the entire loudspeaker, neither in the housing nor in the filter, not even when fixing the drivers. The plastic chassis fastening screws are adjusted using defined torque. The crossover contains only high-quality tonal filter components, such as.B. the Brands Duelund and Mundorf, combined with very special NOS components.
Nothing is left to chance here and you hear that!
