we are in favour of the diffusion principle over absorption. By means of the AGS room acoustic elements, the direct sound is not only broken up, but also extinguished depending on the frequency.
At AGS, the principle of the forest works. The sound is completely broken up by the different diameters and distributes instead of moving to the listening place.
The AGS elements act on the reproduced music with a clear opening of the sound image. Depending on the positioning, which should be evaluated individually, you get a stage representation, which also extends behind the loudspeakers to the level of the middle. Thus, the stage is not only a semicircle, but a space with corners and edges. Most important, however, is the accuracy with which the actors stand in virtual space. The precision increases significantly, which again makes the traceability of the recording room – if available – realistically comprehensible. The big advantage is that there are no negative frequency absorptions, as we know it from absorbers. An absorber only has the possibility to operate a special frequency band. In this way, however, the information of the music in this area is reduced, which leads to discoloration of the timbres. For this reason, we recommend the AGS | Acoustic Grove System from Japan and currently offer two of these exceptional models.
The AGS-MN1 has a very compact design. It can be used in addition to FS1 or independently as a standalone element.
A very effective placement is in the middle between the speakers, e.g. at the top of the rack, on the back wall or simply on the floor. Several elements, also on the side or behind the listening area, enhance the effect.
Dimensions: 66(W) x 11(D) x 30(H) cm, weight: 2.5 kg
The AGS-FS1 consists of a group of wooden columns arranged in a compact configuration. The sound field in space is improved very effectively by the placement of already only one or two units. Usually the FS1 comes in a set of 2 with left and right orientation.
Very effective placements are obliquely behind the loudspeakers, sideways at the reflection points between the loudspeakers and the listening area and/or obliquely behind the listening area.
It is very effective in both too heavily subdued and reverberating rooms.
Dimensions: 40(W) x 32.5(D) x 140(H) cm, weight: 24 kg
The AGS elements can be demonstrated at our premises or also very gladly at your site, by arrangement.
