GroundBox
The GroundBox is a high-end grounding system for premium Hi-Fi and audio systems. It enables consistent star grounding of multiple components and connects them to the building ground via a resonance-optimized grounding block — for a controlled, low-noise grounding environment.
GroundBox – High-End Grounding System
Our GroundBox [Gen.2] realizes uncompromisingly star-shaped grounding and offers eight connections as an input. It is a partner for grounding our Composant S equipment bases. Audio system devices can also be connected to a GroundBox [Gen.2]. The connection to the house soil is then established by our MMGA connector Here. The grounding cables required for the connection are also available from us, in various qualities. The Subbase Premium grounding cables are our standard. At this point, it should be noted that bases and audio devices should not be connected together to a GroundBox.
technology
The solid grounding block of the GroundBox [Gen.2] consists of E-Cu copper (high-purity electrolytic copper) and is directly silver-plated. The entire housing is resonance-trimmed, which significantly improves the homogeneous silence of the entire sound image. The grounding block is connected to all other components using a clamping process and, during production, we use torque to precisely define its resonant frequency. The materials used form a single unit and were selected according to their individual properties.
design
Black anodized, finely brushed aluminum combined with black nickel-plated high-gloss surfaces underline the straightforward industrial design. Ebony wood is used for the headpieces. The GroundBox [Gen.2] is small, it can be placed anywhere, but it is also surprisingly heavy, making its stand very solid.

Die GroundBox [Gen.2] ist eine hochwertige Erdungslösung für HiFi-Anlagen. Sie sorgt für eine konsequent sternförmige Erdung der angeschlossenen Audiokomponenten oder Gerätebasen und schafft damit eine definierte Masseführung. Ziel ist es, elektrische Störeinflüsse zu minimieren und die Wiedergabe noch ruhiger, sauberer und natürlicher wirken zu lassen.
Bei einer sternförmigen Erdung werden alle angeschlossenen Komponenten zentral an einem gemeinsamen Erdungspunkt zusammengeführt. Dadurch lassen sich unerwünschte Ausgleichsströme und potenzielle Masseschleifen reduzieren. Das Ergebnis ist ein homogeneres Klangbild mit mehr Ruhe, feinerer Detailzeichnung und einer stabileren räumlichen Abbildung.
Ja – die GroundBox [Gen.2] verfügt über acht Eingänge und kann mehrere Audiokomponenten oder Gerätebasen aufnehmen. Wichtig ist jedoch, Gerätebasen und Audiokomponenten nicht gemeinsam an derselben GroundBox zu betreiben. Für optimale Ergebnisse empfiehlt Subbase Audio eine getrennte Erdung dieser beiden Bereiche.

Ja. Für die Verbindung zwischen GroundBox und den angeschlossenen Komponenten werden spezielle Erdungskabel verwendet. Hochwertige Erdungskabel tragen dazu bei, die Vorteile der Erdungslösung vollständig auszuschöpfen. Subbase Audio bietet hierfür verschiedene Kabelserien an, die optimal auf das GroundBox-Konzept abgestimmt sind.
