Torus Power
Thanks to the galvanic isolation from the house power, these transformer components from Canada provide a superbly stable and quiet sound, with full dynamics. Transformer hum is a thing of the past.

Power purification
Clean power is the start of wonderful music playback. A Torus isolating transformer galvanically separates the audio system from the in-house power supply and supplies it with almost completely interference-free power, which significantly improves the sound characteristics of the connected devices. Previous transformer solutions have never completely convinced us, as the sound became fine and soft but also less dynamic and the room image also did not have the expected stability. A Torus Power power supply brings more dynamism, a stable space and a flowing naturalness to the playback in a way we have rarely experienced before. While line filters always work whether the house power is more or less heavily polluted and can therefore filter too much, a torus simply provides clean voltage and offers enough reserves that even power amplifiers never get compressed. Torus TOT series
The TOT series is Torus Power's lowest-priced series and consists of three models: TOT MAX CE (shown in the photos), the TOT-AVR CE — with automatic voltage regulation — and the smaller TOT mini CE.
- The small TOT mini CE comes without automatic voltage regulation and with three Schuko slots; its power supply capacity is 3 amps.
- The TOT MAX CE has 8 amps of power supply and comes with four Schuko sockets in the house. The housing width of the TOT MAX CE is the same as the larger RM and AVR models.
- The TOT AVR CE, which has Torus Power's automatic voltage regulation and comes with three Schuko sockets and 4 amps of power delivery capacity.
All three TOT models come as standard without an aluminum front panel in black, as an inexpensive option when the device is set up behind the system, for example, and the look doesn't play a major role. A silver or black aluminum front panel, also in the wide version with rack holes for professional studio technology, can be ordered separately and can also be easily retrofitted. The Torus Power surge protector (“SMSS”) is not standard with the TOT series and cannot be retrofitted, but can be ordered as an option from the factory at an additional cost.
Torus RM series
The RM series is the first choice when automatic voltage regulation is not required. The devices are available from 4 amps of power supply up to 45 amps. In most cases, the models with 8 amps or 16 amps of power delivery capacity will be able to easily meet even the highest requirements of demanding high-end systems. For systems with large power amplifiers (e.g. power supplies larger than 1000 VA), we recommend the 16 amp version, especially as the RM 16 CE is also supplied with eight Schuko sockets. The RM 8 CE comes with five Schuko sockets, which is probably sufficient in most cases. With the RM series devices, the entire system can be supplied with clean power. All models are available with a silver or black aluminum front panel, the body is always black. Of course, wide front panels can also be supplied for mounting in rack systems. A PDF with the corresponding data on the individual models can be found at the bottom of the page.
Torus AVR series
The AVR series is largely the same as the RM series, but also offers active voltage regulation (“Automatic Voltage Regulation” => AVR). This automatic voltage regulation is very complex and ensures that your system is protected against high voltage fluctuations and voltage surges. The components of your system will thank you for their longer lifespan and greater reliability, and most importantly: a significantly better sound level with high musicality should your home power be subject to stronger voltage fluctuations. Similar to those in the RM series, the AVR series devices are available from 8 amps to 45 amps of power delivery capacity. The 8 comes with five Schuko sockets and the 16 comes with eight. All devices in the AVR series are available with a silver or black front panel, as well as with a wide one for installation in professional studio equipment racks. The housing body is always in black.
