Clean current is the beginning of a wonderful music rendition.
A Torus isolating transformer galvanically separates the audio system from the in-house mains voltage and supplies it with completely interference-free current, which greatly improves the tonal properties of the connected devices. Previous separation transformer solutions have never completely convinced us, as the sound became fine and soft but also less dynamic and the spatial representation did not have the expected stability. A Torus Power supply provides more dynamics, a stable space and a fluid naturalness in playback in a way we haven’t seen before. While mains filters always work, whether the domestic current is more or less mutated, and thus can filter too much, a torus simply provides a clean voltage and offers enough reserves that even power amplifiers never get into compression.

The TOT series is the cheapest series of Torus Power and consists of three models:
TOT MAX CE (pictured in the photos), the TOT-AVR CE – with automatic voltage regulation – and the smaller TOT mini CE.
All three TOT models come in black as standard without an aluminium front panel, as a cost-effective option, e.g. if the device is positioned behind the system and the optics do not play a major role. A silver or black aluminium front panel, also in the wide version with rack holes for professional studio technology, can be ordered separately and can also be easily retrofitted.
The Torus Power Surge Protection (“SMSS”) is not standard in the TOT series and cannot be retrofitted afterwards, but can be ordered ex works at an additional cost.
The RM series is the first choice when automatic voltage regulation is not required. The devices are available from 4 ampere power supply capability up to 45 amperes. In most cases, the models with 8 ampere or 16 ampere power supply capability will be able to easily cover even the highest requirements for demanding high-end systems. For systems with large amplifiers (e.g. power supplies larger than 1000 VA) we recommend the 16 Ampere version, especially since the RM 16 CE is also supplied with eight Schuko sockets. The RM 8 CE comes with five Schuko sockets, which is probably sufficient in most cases.
The RM series devices can supply the entire system with clean power. All models are available with silver or black aluminium front panel, the body is always black. Of course, front panels in a wide version can also be supplied for installation in rack systems.
A PDF with the corresponding data for each model can be found at the end of the page.
The AVR series largely corresponds to the RM series, but also offers the active voltage regulation > (AVR). This automatic voltage control system is very complex and ensures that your system is protected from high voltage fluctuations and voltage peaks. The components of your system thank you with longer service life and higher reliability and very important: a significantly better sound level with high musicality, should your house current be subject to more voltage fluctuations.
Similar to the RM series, the AVR series devices are available from 8 amperes to 45 amperes of power supply capability. The 8’s comes with five Schuko sockets and the 16’s with eight. All devices of the AVR series are available with silver or black front panel, as well as with a wide for installation in professional racks of studio technology. The housing body is always in black.
