Our creation based on the P.N.R.SYS is called Vividus.
Vividus [interference frequency potential filter] means, among other things, true to life, lively and describes the effect very aptly. By filtering the interference potentials before they influence the signal current, very fine structures become audible and experienced in the music. Our experience shows that any fine information makes the picture complete. So the more complete the acoustic image, the more realistic and authentic we experience the reproduction of music.
With Vividus you get a modular system for the targeted and effective interference of your audio components. It can be connected to any system component.
Similarly, Vividus can be used on any computer, NAS or router when used for signal delivery. Modular means that you decide how many devices you want to equip with a Vividus. To connect multiple audio devices or multiple device bases (Composant S) to a Vividus, we recommend our GroundBox [Gen .2] with our grounding cables. A large grounding box is too space-demanding for many plant situations and often offers unnecessary connections. Another advantage of Vividus is the component-related installation and thus a short connection cable path, which means a low material resistance.
The Subbase in-house P.N.R.SYS (passive noise reduction system) absorbs and filters potential streams. In order to obtain the lowest possible resistance for these interference currents, only high-purity fine silver is used. Therefore, the best conductor material of our partner Refine audio is used, that Ultima Musica Silver. Consistent continuous contacting is essential. All conductive materials have been optimized for electron flow at Refine, which gives them improved homogeneity over the entire frequency range.
In order to avoid a negative interference with the signal current, we expressly do not recommend the connection to the signal mass. This is in line with the entire subbase concept, because a modified signal = no true-to-life reproduction. This recommendation applies to all grounding products on the market. Potential streams must be kept as low as possible in each audio component. Everyone who deals with the optimization possibilities of high-quality audio playback knows this. In the first step, the phase of the respective device is determined and supplied with power in a phase-correct way. Despite the correctly connected phase, potential currents still work, since only the lesser evil is chosen during the phase-out phase-out. These currents are balanced by means of the signal cable (mass) over all connected devices, so that the same potential prevails throughout the system. (Potential compensation)
In the case of components grounded by the power cable, interference currents not only flow away, but also other interference frequencies can enter the device when the house is loaded.
The quality of the connected power cable, especially its grounding resistance, also contributes significantly to how much noise still overlays the fine signal structures.
Straightforwardness, geometric design for a reduction to the essentials reflects the design of vividus, in their black glossy nickel-plated surfaces. A gem of perfect quality through the symbiosis of high-quality materials.
Vividus’ manufacturing quality is typical of subbase creations. We use selected woods for the housing. The metals, screws and adhesives used are matched to each other as well as the torques of all used screws.
We leave nothing to chance.
You can purchase Vividus with the following connectors:
6-8mm for ground terminals | 4mm Bananas
3mm cable lug for use on housing screws
SCHUKO plug for connection to the socket (earth)
Width: 100mm
Length: 120mm
Height: 75mm
